On Feb. 8, 1931, Rise Studio took a panoramic photograph of the Rapid City Fire Department in front of the fire hall. 78 years later, the process was repeated (by Paul Horsted) at the same place, on the same date in 2009. From a special request by members of the Rapid City Fire Department, there are 2 variations of the combined images, one with names on today's firefighters, and one without the names. Because the unusual, long shape of this panoramic image does not fit standard photo sizes, it is normal to have white space above and below the image area. This can be trimmed off prior to framing. If you do NOT choose "NONE", your photo will get cut off at the ends. Two sizes of prints are available: 11x24 inch print (printed on 16x24 paper), for $85., or 17x36 inch print (printed on 24x36 paper) for $180. You may choose glossy or matte (semi-gloss) surface. The prints ship directly from the custom print lab we use to your address; normal service is about a week but expedited shipping is available.
