Not listed here are several programs Paul will be doing for private organizations, conventions or educational groups across the region. Paul is a regular speaker for Road Scholar groups (formerly known as Elderhostel) visiting the Black Hills.
Feb. 10-12, 2012 (live presentation on Feb. 11), Northern Plains Expo (at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center), Rapid City, S.D. Paul will be at his display at the Expo all 3 days, with discounts on books, prints and probably some other goodies! If you have a book already, bring it in for an autograph! On Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m, Paul will give a program based on his book projects entitled "The Black Hills Yesterday & Today".
BONUS: a sneak peak at Paul's current project and forthcoming book, "Yellowstone Yesterday & Today"! Please note: The Expo is a fundraiser for a number of non-profit and youth organizations in the Black Hills. There is an admission fee of $6.00 (adults), $3.00 (age 5-15) and FREE (age 0-5). There will be dozens of booths and displays, and it should be a lot of fun for the entire family.
Dec. 15, 2011, Outdoor Campus-West, 4130 Adventure Trail, Rapid City, S.D. 605-394-6072 (7 p.m.) Paul will give a program based on his book projects entitled "The Black Hills Yesterday & Today", followed by a book signing.
Sept. 24-25, 2011, Custer State Park, east of Custer, S.D. (9-5 p.m. both days) Paul will be signing books at his booth at the Buffalo Roundup Festival, across from the Peter Norbeck Visitor Center. Stop and say hi! Samples from Paul's latest work will also be on display.
July 18, 2011 Custer State Park, east of Custer, S.D. (8 p.m.) At the old barn near the Game Lodge Campground. Paul will present "The Black Hills Yesterday & Today" program (no charge for admission), and will also have books for sale after the program.
July 2, 2011 Hettinger, N.D. (2 p.m.) At the Hettinger Theatre, 113 Main St. in Hettinger, N.D. "Crossing the Plains with Custer" program, followed by book signing. Free of charge. Sponsored by Hettinger Masonic Lodge.
May 5, 2011, Rapid City, S.D. (6:30 p.m.) Paul will be the featured speaker at "Community Voices", a monthly program of the Rapid City Public Library, 610 Quincy St. in Rapid City. Paul will talk about several of his projects and current unpublished work. A book signing will follow.
April 16, 2011, Rapid City, S.D. (1-4 p.m.) General Beadle School, 10 Van Buren St., Rapid City. Paul will be one of several authors/publishers in a panel discussion about self-publishing. Discussion starts at 1 p.m., book signing tentatively scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Please confirm times by contacting the sponsor, Rapid City Public Library, 605-394-4171.
April 10, 2011, Sioux Falls, S.D. (2 p.m.) Old Courthouse Museum, downtown Sioux Falls. "Exploring with Custer" slide presentation. Paul will look back on the first "Custer" book and lead the audience along the 1874 trail to the Black Hills, with a look at following and current projects as well. No charge for admission, book sale and signing will follow the program.

In his slide talks, Paul usually gives a brief history of several of his book projects before focusing on the particular topic mentioned in the program title. His programs run from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the schedule of the sponsoring organization.
